I'm a writer living in Northern California. I've noticed political ads being run on this site for a candidate I don't support. Sorry, I don't know how to remove them because I can't tell what site they go to. The only presidential candidate I support is Dr. Ron Paul because I believe he's an honest man who wants to restore the US Constitution, as it should be. I do not believe the media attacks accusing him of racism... that is so totally not true!

Next Friday – The First Writing Festival Friday at Perspectives on Writing

Next Friday I’m starting something new. I’m calling it Writing Festival Friday. It will be a day when writers can come here and leave their links to their websites, books, blogs or whatever they want to share. Links in comments should become good back-links for publicity-seeking webmasters and writers.

Each Wednesday I’ll have a random name drawing of one writer who posted on that week’s Writing Festival Friday. That writer will be asked for a short interview. Free promotion!

So come back on Friday and plan to participate. Let us know who you are and what your most recent writing projects are all about.

  1. Linda, what a grand idea. It’s also generous as well as helpful. And isn’t that great when doing so, also helps to promote your name. Maybe your “branding” includes an outstretched hand, helping another writer, to keep on going. Thanks again, and I’ll slip back this coming Friday. BTW, I’m one of the instructors at the upcoming Muse Online Conference. I’m doing, “Seek Your Bliss, Write Your Heart,” in the chat room. There’s a story inside everybody and every heart.

    Cheers,

  2. The difference between men and women is that women aren’t afraid to ask for directions. Linda, is this where/how writers should enter their promos on Friday? Thanks! Susanne

  3. Yes, the links in these comments should become good link-backs to your sites. I use the ‘do-follow’ plugin on my blog. Thanks for asking, Susanne!
