Recently I’ve been hearing about Amargosa, through my own need, the universe’s response, through synchronicity. I heard about the Amargosa Opera House several months ago, and even visited the website. A few nights ago I heard about again while watching an interview online at the Conscious Media Network. Today my partner watched it as I napped and told me later, with passion, how moving it was. That sparked my memory – of having heard of it before – and I made time to watch it tonight at Netflix. It is available for instant view there.
Here’s an example of why it is so important to pay attention to synchronicity.
The movie answered my dilemma of creative momentum.
It is a documentary about a ballet dancer who left New York City after traveling to Death Valley, California and falling in love with an abandoned theater there. She rented the building, restored it, and invested it with the blessings of her creative energies as an artist, dancer, and performer. She was her work, her creative passion, and made beauty out of dust.
So should I be.
