Summer starts in June! Meanwhile, I read. A lot of what I’ll be reading this month was planned for last month, but I fell behind. There are new book choices planned as well. Only time will tell how far I’ll get through this stack of books this month. There’s a reading diary at the end of the page. It Is Novel Writing Season Again!
November! Writing season! I write every day, of course, but November is reserved for novel writing. Though I skipped two years of NaNoWriMo novel writing, this year I’m heading straight on in a dead heat to write the novel I’ve been planning since 2004.

At Home, Revising a Novel on a Rainy Day

California Travel – Planning a Trip to Santa Cruz and San Francisco

I’m excited to say I’m planning a trip to Santa Cruz and San Francisco! I haven’t traveled that far in eight years . . . rather sad to say because I live only ten hours north of there near the California-Oregon border. I just don’t travel much anymore, mainly because I couldn’t afford to. But now I’m making the supreme effort and planning to spend about $1000 on this trip.

One Novel – Finally Ready to Submit!
After all these years, I finally have one novel revised enough to submit. That’s quite an accomplishment, for me. I never understood as I was writing it how intense my revision experience would be. I’ve been over that manuscript six times now. For most of the first year I was afraid to look at it!
