I have to be thankful. I’m still alive, still relatively healthy, and still enjoying life. So many people can’t say this, and my heart goes out to all who suffer. Keeping The Home Fires Burning While Writing Novels
It is that fireplace time of year, and we have no wood, so how am I to keep the home fires burning? When I came to the Klamath River Valley to live – nearly twelve years ago – I had no idea how to heat a house with firewood. It is primitive! That’s certain! I was a San Francisco Bay Area girl born and bred, and was used to turning up the thermostat to keep warm. Nothing more.

What’s New: February & March, 2011
I got so busy last month I never wrote a word in my blog about what I was doing! I fell behind in my work because of a computer problem – the fan went out and I had to order one from thousands of miles away. After that setback, at the end of the month I raced to get the March 2011 issue of Literature For Kids online – and also rushed to get my new business site online almost two weeks after my intended launch date.
