Summer is in full swing with grasses turned gold and wildflowers towering over them in my yard. I can’t mow down a wildflower, so I’ll read instead. Stay in where it is cool… and read.

Book Lady’s July 2020 Reading Report
Midsummer reading! I’m loving the sunshine and roses. I’m still reading some of my June books but have added a few more to the stack I’m planning to read in July.

Book Lady’s June 2020 Reading Report
I had a good reading experience last month and am hoping to keep up that momentum for June. I’m making more Booktube videos, and have other projects going on like gardening and interior house painting.

Book Lady’s May 2020 Reading Report
Hello again! May flowers – now, there’s a concept, and a phenomenon! I should read at least one book this month with flowers on the cover. I’m sure that can be done. In fact, I have several planned.

Book Lady’s April 2020 Reading Report
Life changed dramatically in the last month. I’m still reading, but I think I would have done better with my reading without all the drama. We all are concerned about health right now, and so we should be. I see this as a good time to set aside differences and do what we can to care for and support others regardless of religion, political affiliations, and reading speed.

Book Lady’s March 2020 Reading Report
March comes, dancing into my life with spring flowers and yard work to do and many, many books to read. Sometimes it is more fun researching them in advance, than it is to actually read them. Depends on how good they are. I hope I read as many books this month as I did last month.

Book Lady’s February 2020 Reading Report
Did you notice I started this page on the first of the month? It has been a while since I’ve been able to start at day one because of my traveling, vandwelling, and general disorganization during #vanlife. I’m still sleeping in my van, but I’ve got a place to park it now.

Book Lady’s January 2020 Reading Report
I had difficulties with computer internet access during January 2020 but it was easy to get a lot of reading done… mainly on my phone, using Audible or Kindle. I’m listing the books I finished on this page.

Life Changes, Vanlife, Travel, the Klamath River, and Me
It is almost the end of January and I haven’t posted anything since December. That’s because my life has been in a state of upheaval for months. Well, that is ending. I’ve moved from North Idaho and settled back into my former (and now current) hometown in Northern California, in the Klamath National Forest. The Lord has blessed me greatly here during the last few months.

Book Lady’s December 2019 Reading Report
December . . . can’t believe it came so quickly and so here we are, dealing with the last month of the year, knowing that not all plans were carried out, not all books on my list were read (and they will not be) but a lot of other good things happened, so it is a trade off and in the end, we get what we get and it is what it is.

Book Lady’s November 2019 Reading Report
After a difficult start in my new situation here in the Klamath River Valley, I’m adjusting to the idea that I won’t be going to Arizona this month. Changes are hard to deal with sometimes. This community isn’t new to me, but living in a primitively equipped no-build cargo van in cold weather is not what I’d call great fun… but I’m learning to deal with it and getting things I’ll need to spend the winter here. And, I’m reading again!

Book Lady’s October 2019 Reading Report
October! It was so cold in North Idaho, all I could think of was getting out of the cold. Reading didn’t happen. I’m living in my van, which isn’t insulated yet. It was so cold I couldn’t even focus on learning to use the propane heater I bought, and I couldn’t leave town because I was waiting for a business deal to go through. It took much longer than expected. Finally got out of there on October 11. Forgot to tell my daughter I was leaving town, because I just wanted to wake up in a place that wasn’t below freezing.
