My new art table arrived yesterday. It is an ordinary 6′ white folding plastic table, and is already covered with art supplies. I’m so excited to have it here.

I like to have my art table placed next to a window for natural light. It also uplifts my spirit for art creation when I can look outside at God’s beautiful creation. Trees, grass, all that. I still need to buy two desk lamps – one for each side of whatever I’m working on.
What’s in the boxes?
The boxes hold art supplies and journals. I have an abundance of journals.
First art project on the new table.
My first art project is to paint the styrofoam that came in the box with the table. I’m painting it with clear gesso – but only because I couldn’t find my white gesso. That might still be in Idaho. Let’s make a little home decor!
I painted it with cheap acrylic paints – yellow with a gold edge.
Now, how about a video? I got my table cloth and clear plastic tablecloth cover, and decided it is time to start making art videos again. This all puts me in a mood for the YouTube arts & crafts community!
This is a short article! I will add more photos as I get more done on my table setup or my art project.

I still haven’t painted anything onto that yellow styrofoam surface. Instead, I bought more art supplies. This video shows what I got from Blick art supplies online – a tabletop easel set with paints and mediums, plus a palette and palette paper.
I also got some brushes (for acrylic paint) and more palettes from Amazon.
I’m currently working on 8×10 canvas board, creating acrylic folk art for the living room of my home.
