March Mystery Madness is a Booktube Readathon…. totally the in thing right now as it is the month of March, and who does’t love a good mystery novel?
Note to participants: If I haven’t linked to your video in this posting, it is because I’m only human. I didn’t mean to leave you out and do hope you will post a link to your video in the comment section.
FYI – I have no part in creating this readathon. I am a participant, blogging about it.

Books for each of the prompts
1. Read five mystery books! (Though, if you read at least one, you’re participating.)
I can’t honestly say I expect to read five mystery books this month. I have a couple of long books I’m dealing with right now. I will try.
I’m currently reading The Thirteenth Tale. The mystery is … why has a famous writer kept her life so secretive until her old age?
2. Read the fifth book in a series.
You can find hundreds of series on Amazon.
3. Read a book with five or more words in the title.
My choice is The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Here are a few more to choose from.
4. Read a book with a page count divisible by five.
This book has exactly 400 pages (paperback).
5. Read a book with the number five or “Fifth” in title.
Five Little Pigs by Agatha Christie looks like a good book.
6. Read a book first published in a year divisible by five.
2020 is divisible by 5. All these mystery novels are published in 2020.
7. Read a book published in May of any year, since it is the fifth month.
Here’s one I might want to read.
