Just a few words about why I’ve decided to keep a reading list online here
We all seek to identify the things in life that capture our heart. For me, God comes first, then family, then literature. There are other issues I’m deeply invested in, but books are a constant. I’ve been in love with books since I learned to read, and still remember my first visit to a library.
I used to have a large collection of books. I unfortunately gave that up when I moved from Happy Camp, CA to Northern Idaho. At that time I drastically downsized, selling or giving away hundreds of things I cared about. I was desperate to get out of what was for me, a very sad and trying situation. The things I miss most are my books. I often think wistfully of titles that are no longer in my possession.
Perhaps I’m compensating now, by calling myself “Book Lady.” On this blog, I focus on my love of books. My goal is to review all the books I read.
