I’ve decided to do the 2022 Christian Reading Challenge which I found on Tim Challies’ blog. He’s a pastor in Toronto, Canada. I find this to be a great alternative to the secular challenge I’ve done in past years. This Christian Reading Challenge includes both Christian and secular reading opportunities, so it is perfect for me.

Linda Book Lady’s November 2021 Reading Report & Diary
I’m going through a process of simplification right now to make more room in my life for things that are important to me that haven’t been getting done right. As part of my simplification process I’m reducing my published list of TBR books to five only. I may read more than that, but will add them as I get to them, if I get to them.

The Tag About Tags – a Booktube tag created by Ros
Hello people. Today I’m writing about a Booktube tag – “The Tag About Tags.” I’d like to write about tags I do on my Booktube channel and hope this will be the first of many tag postings here on my bookish blog. Linda Book Lady’s October 2021 Reading Report & Diary
I’ve been away so my October page is late since I haven’t yet perfected a means of using my computer comfortably while traveling. I’m happy to be home again where I’m starting to analyze my trip and my traveling inclinations. October reading is going to be a lot like September reading since for the 17 days away, I didn’t open even one of my paperbacks, but listened solely to audiobooks instead, while driving.

Linda Book Lady’s September 2021 Reading Report & Diary
September is the new land of promise. I’m leaving August, going forward with hope and perseverance, knowing that life takes me where I’m meant to go more often than just where I want to go. The future is unpredictable, but I’m willing to take my chances on September. Truly, I’m going there whether I want to or not. Might as well have a good attitude about it, right?

I’m backing off the heavy reading schedule for a while. July didn’t go well for me for a variety of reasons. I like to succeed with my goals. I don’t like failure. Sometimes that means being reasonable with myself. I feel like I’ve cut back a little, but you won’t believe it if you look at the book list on this page.

Linda Book Lady’s July 2021 Reading Report & Diary
The heat is getting to me – taking away my energy. I want to sleep – but I need to read. I have lots of books on my TBR. This is no time to lose energy. Summer sunshine.

Linda Book Lady’s June 2021 Reading Report & Diary
June might turn out to be a month of great change for me. I’m hoping to get my van converted, better than before, into a fully self-contained Class B RV. There may be solar panels and even an air conditioner (that can be used only with shore power). That would mean: time for a vacation! Wherever I go, there will be books.

Clean Reads Reading Plan
I am tired of reading recently written novels with trash in them. By trash I mean anything that offends, like violence, cursing and sex scenes. Today’s literature often carries all three to extremes. In the last few years I’ve been exposed to many types of literature and I’ve decided to back off and only read what makes me happy, so I’ve developed a new reading plan.

Linda Book Lady’s May 2021 Reading Report & Diary
I actually have little roses blooming in my yard now. That’s a surprise because the property was burned terribly in a forest fire last September, and most of the roses had to be transplanted in an attempt to save them. Two bushes that weren’t transplanted actually bloomed for me this week.
